Chronic Sorrow

Featured in the HVCC Student Show in Spring of 2023, this was the piece that really proved to myself what I was capable of as a filmmaker. I was able to use this film as an opportunity to practice my skills as a camera operator, as well as getting more comfortable in front of the camera.

Reconciliation

For this film I placed a heavy emphasis on creating emotion throughout the piece. I focused on making a narrative that unfolds throughout the runtime, and this forced me to take even more care with every shot and make sure they all had a meaning and purpose within the story.

Watcher

This piece started off as nothing more than a technical exercise. But as I gathered clips and began weaving them together in my head, I found myself completely submerged in the practice of curation. This repurposing of materials became something that really drove my work from this point forward.
